This notice covers this website and the messages you send us. BuddyCinemas and DrBell have their own privacy notices on their own sites. In India, our sister company Newtact Lab Private Limited publishes its own notice at newtact.in.
What we collect
- When you visit. Every request to a website carries technical details: your IP address, your browser, the page you asked for and the time. Our host, Cloudflare, processes them to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse. We don’t use them to identify you.
- No analytics. We don’t measure or track your visit: there are no analytics, advertising or social-media scripts on this site.
- When you contact us. Your name, your email address or phone number, your organisation and role if you give them, and whatever you write or tell us.
- Your theme choice. If you choose a theme (light, dark, or match my device), it is saved in your own browser (
thaja.theme) and never sent to us.
We don’t ask for sensitive information, and we ask you not to send it.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and to discuss working together. These are steps you ask us to take before any contract, and answering business enquiries is our legitimate interest.
- To keep the site running and secure. This is our legitimate interest.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping business records.
We don’t sell your data, we don’t use it for advertising, and we don’t make automated decisions about you.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this site.
- Our email and telephone providers, which carry your messages to us.
- Newtact Lab Private Limited, our sister company in India, if your enquiry is about work in India and you agree that we pass it on.
- Professional advisers and public authorities, where the law requires it.
Where it goes
Cloudflare runs a global network, so your data may be processed outside the United Arab Emirates. Where it is, we rely on our providers’ contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and correspondence: up to 24 months after our last contact. If an enquiry leads to a contract, we keep it for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.
- Request details: Cloudflare keeps these for a short period, under its own policies.
Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- limit how we use it, or stop using it
- give it to you in a form you can take elsewhere
- withdraw any consent you have given

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the UAE Data Office. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes
When this notice changes, we publish a new version here, with its date and version number at the top.
