Markets Rally as Inflation Cools for Third Straight Month
Global markets extended their winning streak on Monday as fresh data showed inflation cooling for a third straight month, easing pressure on central banks to keep interest rates elevated.
Analysts said the figures, which came in below expectations, could open the door to a more accommodative policy stance in the coming quarter.
"This is exactly the kind of print markets have been waiting for," one strategist said, noting that consumer discretionary and technology shares led the gains.
